About Us
Whiting Free Library is free for everyone regardless of the town of residence. It is a volunteer-operated library by individuals passionate about reading and literacy who want to spread their passion for books.
A board of trustees operates the Whiting Free Library. The town voters elect the trustees on Town Meeting Day.
The Whiting Free Library recently moved from the old Baptist church to the Whiting Town Hall. The library has been going since at least the 1920s.
